God
We believe in the one true God of creation, who eternally exists in the three persons of the holy Trinity: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Bible
We believe that the Bible, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
Sin
We believe that God created Adam and Eve in His own image and that they were tempted by Satan and fell from their sinless state, resulting in a broken relationship with God and eternal separation from Him, for all mankind. We believe that because of the original sin of Adam and Eve, man is by nature sinful, deserving of eternal death, and inherently in need of salvation in order to be reconciled with God.
Eternal Life/Salvation
We believe that God provides salvation from sin and eternal death through the life, death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that salvation and eternal life are gifts from God, which we receive only by the grace of God, through faith, on the basis of the work of Christ, and by the agency of the Holy Spirit. We believe that, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
Jesus Christ
Deity and Person – We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the one and only living Son of God. We believe that He, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, is fully God and fully man.
Work of Jesus Christ – We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ took on flesh to become the Savior of mankind. We believe that He lived a sinless life, performed the miracles documented in the Bible, and atoned for the sin of mankind through His shed blood and sacrificial death on the cross.
Resurrection & Ascension – We believe in the literal bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that He literally rose from the dead on the third day following His crucifixion and appeared to many people for a period of forty days before ascending into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God.
Second Advent – We believe that Jesus Christ will literally return to earth again – personally, visibly, and bodily – in power and glory, to complete the eternal plan of God.
Holy Spirit
We believe In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and that He has come to glorify God, apply the saving work of Christ to our hearts, bring conviction for sin, and draw us to Jesus Christ. We believe the indwelling Holy Spirit imparts gifts to believers for God’s service, instructs and guides them into truth, and seals them for eternal life. Because of the indwelling Holy Spirit, we believe that there is spiritual unity of all believers who place their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Gender & Marriage
We believe that God has wonderfully and immutably created each person as biologically male or female, and that these two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. With equality in value and distinction in roles, God has designed each gender with purpose and responsibility. We believe that God created marriage to be exclusively the union of one man and one woman, and that sexual activity is to occur exclusively within that union.
