Board

Dionne Cottle

President

Dionne has a long history with HTS, beginning with co-founding the Louisville-Springfield chapter in 2012, then serving as chapter director and treasurer there prior to joining the HTS Board in 2025. Though a certified teacher, Dionne and her husband David fully embraced the homeschool lifestyle, even taking a four-year hiatus and trekking through eight southern states in an RV with three of their six children and four dogs, stopping along the way to immerse themselves in our Nation’s history, meet wonderful people, and enjoy unforgettable adventures over the land, on the water, and in the air. A grandmother of five, Dionne stays active volunteering in her church’s AWANA and VBS programs, as well as teaching line dancing, crochet, and acrylic painting at Southeast Community College.

Konstanze “Konnie” Snyder

Vice President

A graduate of the USAF Academy, Konnie gave 20 years of active duty and Reserves service to our Country in the USAF, all while homeschooling her two youngest children. Konnie and her husband Ronnie moved their family thirteen times before settling in Omaha in 2020 and discovering the blessing of Homeschool Teen Serve when his military orders brought them to Nebraska. After serving as treasurer of the Papillion-LaVista Chapter for three years, Konnie joined the HTS Board in 2025. She volunteers as a mentor in the USAF’s Key Spouse Program and as a patient advocate in both the Department of Defense’s Exceptional Family Member Program for military families and with the National Institute of Health’s Pain Consortium in support of chronic pain patients and families. Konnie’s pride and joy are her husband, three adult children, and two grandchildren. Her sincere hope is that her service in HTS will bless others with the same outpouring of God’s love with which she and her family have been blessed.

Cathy Stange

Secretary

A mother of five, Cathy homeschooled her three youngest children who
served with Homeschool Teen Serve-Bellevue until it closed in 2016.
Encouraged by her children, Cathy started the Council Bluffs chapter that
fall and served as director for four years. After her youngest graduated in
2020, Cathy joined the HTS executive board. She fills her days sewing and
crocheting beautiful creations, and exploring the country with her husband
Ron and their grandchildren.

Barb Mckillip

Treasurer

The mother of three adult daughters, Barb became involved with Homeschool Teen Serve during her youngest daughter’s senior year of high school. She founded the Southeast Nebraska Chapter in 2016 and served as director until joining the Executive Board in 2017. Barb puts many miles on her car traveling between her homes in Union and Lincoln, rehearsing and performing with the Omaha Symphonic Chorus, and teaching math classes at Nebraska Indian Community College (NICC).
